You will be operationally focused on implementing privacy tools in customer-facing digital channels of Americans travel business, primarily our multiple web sites.

Act as Subject Matter Expert on AAs implementation and management of cookie consent solutions across all digital platforms.
Gather and document requirements of a legal and technical nature for the purpose of implementing data collection structures that are compliant with applicable regulations.
Plan implementation and experimentation related to data privacy, governance and storage.
Requires a deep understanding of cookie technologies, including first-party and third-party cookies, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA
Define a centralized process and guidelines to cookie management.
Implement the cookie management tool, scan the website to create a real-time and automated inventory of cookies, cookie blocking custom scripts.
Ensure that all cookies are appropriately categorized, consent preferences are accurately recorded, and that users have a seamless experience in managing their cookie settings.
Create and maintain accurate and standardized reporting related to privacy matters.
Understand emerging technology trends in the industry and develop strategy based on market trends and customer sentiment.
Build and maintain relationships with Privacy stakeholders, Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts, business and technical, to define, analyze, prioritize, and refine business requirements into an implementable backlog.
Establish and manage product roadmap that is aligned to the vision and sets direction for the product evolution.
Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
Collaborate with technical teams to configure cookie banners, conduct regular audits to maintain compliance, and work with analytics teams to ensure that all data collected is in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed to address changes such as requirements, staffing, or funding
Communicate with stakeholders to keep the project aligned.
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Compliance and Privacy Law, subject matter experience

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field
Experience working with Legal and Technology teams to extract business value from high-volume customer interactions and bulk data while also managing privacy-related risks
2+ years of technology experience, including development or managing customer-facing digital asset, work in the realm of data privacy, governance or compliance. Good knowledge and understanding of JavaScript.
Experience in leveraging Agile, DevOps, and Cloud practices to manage technology delivery.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience in using or implementing OneTrust Cookie Consent platform for privacy management is nice to have but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to grasp, articulate and work toward solutions for complex analytical problems or business needs
Ability to build and facilitate relationships with key stakeholders and technical experts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
Effective working in a team environment
Able to speak up confidently and with authority
Able to take feedback and adapt in a fast-paced environment
