Location: Maryland Heights, MO - Onsite 3 days a week
looking for a DevOps Engineer who is skilled with cloud-based technologies including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Unix administration, and monitoring technologies (Splunk, Data Dog, App Dynamics). The DevOps engineer may work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and a receptionist. The DevOps engineers are responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform. They also manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis, so strong communication skills are important in this position. They are generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful.

DevOps Engineer II

Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Platform Engineer.
- Experience in Pega or Business Process Management (BPM) platform.
- Alternatives include Appian, Activiti, OutSystems, Kissflow, and SS&C Blue Prism Intelligent Automation Platform.
- Knowledge of Splunk and AppDynamics
- Familiarity with Java, Spring, how Tomcat runs, how to check logs, how Spring Boot works, etc.
- Java background is a plus. We are not looking for someone that has development skills, but must have experience supporting systems in production that are hosted via Linux boxes (ideally AWS too).
