IT Analyst IV (Security Monitor Specialist)
Location: Houston, TX (This role is a hybrid work schedule, working onsite 3 days a week.)
Contract: 12+ months
Required Skills:
7+ years of experience with OT intrusion and detection and security/monitoring applications Experience with software focused on detecting, investigating, and responding to threats such as Carbon Black Experience with antivirus software such as Symantec Experience with monitoring systems in operation such as Splunk Experience with operational security monitoring and management
Security Monitoring Management Specialist to support their Lower48 business. The Security Admin will be responsible for making sure the inventory is getting updates with app policies and evaluation of what is allowed and blocked out in the field. This person will be using software's such as Carbon Black, Symantec, and Splunk for application whitelisting, detecting, monitoring and responding to threats, antivirus, and monitoring, searching, and analyzing the hardware and software. This person's goal would be to maintain, monitor and regulate good hygiene on hardware in the field.
Must Haves:
7+ years of experience with OT intrusion and detection and security/monitoring applications
Experience with software focused on detecting, investigating, and responding to threats such as Carbon Black
Experience with antivirus software such as Symantec
Experience with monitoring systems in operation such as Splunk
Experience with operational security monitoring and management
Plusses:
Oil and gas operational technology experience
Experience with Microsoft Defender (enterprise uses)
