Job Description

Position: IT Project Manager III Location:Chicago, IL   (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months with EXT    • Top 3 skill sets required for this role:
o 1. IT Technical Knowledge and Understanding - Strong grasp of IT Infrastructure, software development, systems integration and emerging technologies is essential.
o 2. Proficient in Agile or Scaled agile Project Management methodologies and Strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within timeline, scope and budget.
o 3. Effective communication is key to managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring all stakeholders (technical, business, clients) are aligned. Ability to translate technical Jargon into business friendly language
• Nice to have skills or certifications:
o 1. Safe Agilist Scaled Agile/ Certified Scrum master (CSM)
o 2. PMP
o 3. AWS preferred; Azure/GCP experience can substitute.   Job Summary:  Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.    Primary Responsibilities:  Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center. Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on state-of-the-art practices. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.    Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or other related discipline Experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction PMP Certification
