- The Senior Designer - UX will help lead the design and definition as a key contributor to Uniteds Core UX team, Travel MBT, responsible for integrating human-centered practices in unpacking and improving the digital customer experience across all stages of the travel journey.
- The Core UX team supports defining Uniteds digital product strategy and providing the leadership to execute on that strategy with the help of a cross-functional mission-based teams. Were looking for an empathic, passionate curious designer who celebrates delivering high-quality solutions and thrives for innovation in a collaborative environment.
- Solid grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of front-end web technologies required
- Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, mobile, and touch devices required
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision required
- Experience in writing detailed design specifications (IA, work flow, page functionality and layout, etc.), which technology developers use to build the product required
- Must be a self-starter that can create schedules and define scope of work even when there are no clear requirements and direction required
- Strong ability to communicate your design, defend your design decisions, and respond quickly to business needs required
- Proven ability to set the design direction for your projects and to collaborate with other designers working in the space required
- A team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment required
