Job Description
Job Title: Sr. System Administrator
Location: Cincinnati, OH - someone who can be onsite when need be. It is a Hybrid role
Must have skills:
- Linux
- Active Directory – must
- Enterprise Storage – Cohesity, Isilon – plus but does need to have storage exp
- Compute – Nutanix\ Cisco UCS – plus
- Cloud – AWS \ Azure – must
- Hypervisor – VMWare\VDI-HorizonView – must
- Server OS - Latest MS Server, Red Hat, SUSE – wants a blend of linux and windows environment.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira, SCOM, SQL Always On, and Automation\scripting tools a plus. – let me know what they have I will speak with them
Minimum Qualifications
Education Select the highest level of education required for the position.
Bachelor’s Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of related experience or 8 years of related work experience.
☒ Years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Work Experience Provide the experience required to perform the position duties.
- Experience with implementing enterprise class IT technologies.
- Advanced working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Strong Customer Service skills
Additional Qualifications considered:
- The ideal candidate will have advanced working knowledge of VMWare, Linux, Windows\AD Administration, DNS, LDAP, Cloud Administration and Enterprise SAN architecture.
- An excellent understanding of Networking, Hyper-converged infrastructure, SQL cluster technologies, F5 BIG-IP load balancing and HPC Administration.
- Other desired skills include HTML, Language Scripting, NSX, and vRealize.
- Experience working with ServiceNow and PAM applications preferred.
- Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MS Certified Azure Administrator\Solution Architect, VCP6.5+, RHCS, RHCSA, CompTIA, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, SNCP, SNIA, CCIE, CCNP, BCNE.
